Professional Actor & Driver
TIM PALEY
I am a North West based actor, living close to Manchester. Originally born and bred in Bradford, West Yorkshire, I moved across the border for the love of a good woman. Although a late entrant to the acting profession,  I am an accomplished actor with experience on stage, in film and in television. My recent TV credits include, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Coronation Street, Moving On, Emmerdale, Boy Meets Girl, Heartbeat and Phoenix Nights.

I recently completed a small part in the BAFTA nominated feature, The Selfish Giant, directed by Clio Barnard. Other films include Lock In, Diary of a Bad Lad, Lookin' for Lucky, Tash Force and Bar Stewards.

I have just completed a small part on Coronation Street playing a funeral director and a little earlier was pleased to be asked to be Joes 'Mascot' on 8 Out of 10 Casts does Countdown. I'll explain it all one day. Previously I was involved in an episode of BBC’s afternoon drama, ‘Moving On’ (The Value), where it was essential that the actor actually drives the bus  in the scenes. I am proud to say that I was offered the role without an audition due to having the PCV licence, and of course being an actor too helped.

Specialist Skill: As well as a standard driving licence, I also hold a full PCV licence, formerly known as a PSV licence, which I have held since 1984. This licence entitles me to drive any passenger carrying vehicle from mini bus to large coach, through to double decked vehicles, and I can honestly say that I have never been involved in any accidents or collisions in all that time. I also have enhanced DBS clearance.
